Cabinet Pulls vs Knobs: Which Should You Buy?

Pulls and knobs can both look intentional. The better choice depends on existing mounting holes, drawer size, grip preference, and the style you want across the room.

Mounting Comes First

Most pulls use two holes and are selected by CTC. Most knobs use one hole. Changing from a knob to a pull, or changing CTC, usually requires new drilling or a compatible backplate.

Grip and Layout

Pulls give more gripping area for larger drawers. Knobs stay compact on doors and traditional layouts. A common mix uses pulls on drawers and knobs on doors with one shared finish.

Replacement Checklist

Confirm hole count, millimeter CTC, projection, screw thread, and pack quantity on the selected product page before ordering.
