Cabinet Pulls vs Knobs

Mounting
Most cabinet pulls use two mounting holes and are selected by CTC. Most cabinet knobs use one mounting hole. Some T-bar or elongated knobs are not round, so check their full dimensions instead of assuming diameter.
Grip and Use
Pulls usually provide more gripping area and may suit larger drawers or users who prefer a full-hand grip. Knobs are compact and may suit doors, smaller fronts, and traditional or transitional layouts.
Replacement Rule
For the simplest replacement, match the existing number of holes and the exact CTC. Changing from a knob to a pull, or changing pull CTC, usually requires drilling.
