Short screws suit about 18–20mm (0.7–0.8") panels; long screws suit about 28–34mm (0.9–1.2") panels. Confirm your panel thickness before installation.

Can longer screws be used for thicker panels?

Yes, for custom or thicker panels you may need longer screws of the same thread type. Do not force a mismatched thread.
